I painting I did in my friend Diana’s backyard.

Oops!!!
It didn’t publish the first time. So here is the painting that I was commissioned to do.
I was commissioned to paint a picture for a gal who works for a citrus company in Exeter. This is what I ended up painting. She fortunately liked it and it is now hanging up in her office.

Another painting from the backyard of Diana Leoni’s . Her place is a artist delight. There are so many interesting things to capture your creative juices. Its one of my favorite places to go for en plein air painting.

This is another painting from Diana’s place. She’s always serving us wonderful home brewed tea.

This painting is 40 x 16. Its perfect for a big tall rooster. I used a palette knife to add texture to his body and give movement. I pleased with the results.

I started this painting at Mo’s Corral, a farm close to Riverdale. It took two outings to finish. My cousin Reon has already said she wants it. I was going to put some baby chicks in but decided not to this time. I love using complementary colors and using bold brush strokes.

This is a much larger version than the first one I painted. The first painting was only 12 x 12 and was started in my friends backyard. Her garden is amazing with wonderful funky garden art . My friends and I go there frequently to paint. We always find something that captures our interest. Its one of my favorites places to go.

Here’s a new painting that I recently finished and sold.

Here we are again in Diana’s backyard doing the thing we love to do……paint.
We had a great time and loved every minute of it.
